Taylor Swift’s “T” Chain at the Super Bowl Screams Reputation
Taylor Swift is that girl—in love, thriving, and always keeping us on our toes. She pulled up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9 to support her man, Travis Kelce, but let’s be real… she also gave Swifties a major Reputation-era déjà vu moment. And I know I’m not the only one who clocked it.
The moment? Her “T” chain. Yes, that one. The same delicate, bejeweled “T” she rocked at the Grammys just a week earlier. And while it originally seemed like a nod to The Tortured Poets Department, it’s now giving full-circle Reputation energy.
Let’s rewind. At the Grammys on Feb. 2, Taylor stepped out in a full-red slay, with a dainty red “T” chain barely peeking out from under her minidress. Swifties immediately linked it to TTPD‘s “Guilty As Sin,” where she sings, “What if he’s written ‘mine’ on my upper thigh / only in my mind.” At the time, many thought it was a wink to her 2023 Matty Healy fling (whew), but the T undeniably screamed Travis Kelce.
Now, fast-forward to the Super Bowl. Taylor showed up in a white blazer, tank, and denim shorts—casual but effortlessly chic. But this time, the “T” wasn’t hiding. It was right there, on full display, as a necklace. And if you’ve been in your Swiftie bag long enough, you know where this is going.
“I want to wear his initial on a chain ‘round my neck / Chain ‘round my neck / Not because he owns me / But ‘cause he really knows me.”

Yep. That’s Call It What You Want from Reputation. And while that song was allegedly about Joe Alwyn, Taylor seems to be reclaiming the lyric—now, with a new leading man to celebrate.
So, do I think this is a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) Easter egg? Absolutely. Am I delulu about it? Also yes. But if this isn’t her way of dropping hints, I don’t know what is.
